Who should I give the prettier scarf to?
I recently bought 2 gorgeous silk oblong scarves at a fair trade sale. One of them is a little more expensive because it's wider and longer. I'm not undeviating who to give it to. I could either give it to an Egyptian girl that's staying at my house for Christmas or to my friend as a birthday/Christmas offer combined (she's born dec 2) I know I will probably end up buying the Egyptian girl a scrap more for Christmas yet I wouldn't mind keeping one of the scarves for myeslf. (I love silk scarves) Who should I give the longer one to?
Both scarves are made in India, and they are both rather beautiful. I normally wouldn't have any problems giving my friend a beautiful present for birthday/christmas it's fair I never think she appreciates what I give her.
Actually Jennifer I do know what it's like my b-day is even closer to Christmas than hers is. We both agreed that we'd integrate our gifts.
Oh and Lily, I'm Canadian, and I don't know what to give her.
If your partner doesn't appriciate what you give her, don't give her something special like that scarf. Buy her a gift card or something.
Also, stop giving your pen-pal birthday/Christmas combined gifts. That's so rude. Do you know how it feels to have your birthday in December, and someone gives you a clique gift because they are too lazy to acknowledge the two separate days? I feel really bad for December 25th children. Quite used to the "Two for one deal" gifts. Maybe that's why she looks like she doesn't appriciate it. She's unqualifiedly upset.
