Two cancer patients being treated at Johns Hopkins Nursing home tested positive for a drug-resistant strain of H1N1 influenza (a.k.a. "Swine Flu"). According to the Maryland Concern of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Johns Hopkins Hospital, both patients recovered from their infection. The first was detected during practice screening for influenza strains performed at the State Laboratory. The other was detected when the patient's physicians noticed that Tamiflu, an antiviral, was not winning care of the infection with H1N1 influenza.

Tamiflu's main ingredient is oseltamivir . Oseltamivir is a type of panacea called a neuraminidase inhibitor. Neuraminidase is an enzyme used by influenza viruses to separate themselves from cells once they imitate. Inhibiting this enzyme prevents the viruses from leaving the cells that they have infected. This gives the immune system convenience life to catch the virus "in the act" of infecting a cell instead of having to "search down" the viruses all over the body. Influenza viruses replicate at a high rate inside the cells of the respiratory disquisition and a few other organs in the body.

Body Armor?

I am not a cop but I mould cops know about this so.... just clarifying that.

I want to get some body armor for every day use, just to wear around municipality so if someone goes postal or someone tries to mug me I am covered. First, am I allowed to wear body armor around town in Texas, I don't discern of any laws against it but want to make sure.

I hear that level 2 armor provides OK protection but is not too voluminous. I guess size matters so I took some measurements. My waist is 36 inches, at my naval is 35 inches and my thorax ' is 39". I would like a little big of wiggle room so if I pig out or work out I can still fit in but I want it not to wiggle when I move before then. I fake they are adjustable to some extent.

What is the best type of armor for me and how much should I expect to pay? Does armor expire? Are there any things I can't do in it? Does stew cause it to go bad, how about water, heat? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
When it starts to stink can I desert it, I heard water ruins it? What is the best way to fight odor? Does wearing an undershirt forbear?

I figure after a while I will get used to it... just like you get used to wearing a watch or carrying a notecase.

Body Armor is hot, uncomfortable, and cumbersome.

I wear it because I have to, but I wouldn't recommend it for 'just wearing around town'...

It shouldn't be illegal unless you are a lawbreaker or committing a felony at the time you are wearing it, though.

It generally has a recommended life of 5 years, costs about $300 and will stink to huge heaven after about three days of being worn in the Texas summer.
