KIDNAPPING/Loot/ASSAULT: A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a 48-year-old man wanted in connecting with a kidnapping, rape and assault that occurred Halloween morning in Redding.

Jose Felipe Mendoza is the believe sought by Redding police. The crime occurred about 10 a.m. Oct. 31 in the parking lot outside the 99 Cents Only Stow away at 2611 Hilltop Drive.

VANDALISM/HATE CRIME: Up to $1,000 for information about the person or people who vandalized three homes in the west Redding and Shasta areas.

The crimes occurred between May and November 2008, and February to August 2009.

The vandalism took part of the country at private homes on Swasey Drive, Old Stagecoach Road and High Street.

ARSON: Up to $1,000 for dope about a Jan. 8 arson near Burney where someone intentionally set the outside of a house on fire at 21609 Vallejo St. in Johnson Preserve.
