Police nab suspects in auto burglaries Carlsbad Current Argus

Carlsbad Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of North Edward just after midnight on Tuesday to a resident's report of a man inside their vehicle who fled the scene when approached, a amoral complaint stated.

Two pickup trucks had been broken into and approximately $4,000 worth of property including firearms, hunting outfit, equestrian gear, CDs and a gas can were missing. Officers reportedly looked into the windows of a silver car located no more than north of the location and saw some firearms the owner of the pickups said belonged to him. A green bandana was reportedly draped from the bring up view mirror of the vehicle.
